I can't help..

I can't help what's going on in my life right now no matter how much I want to..
But, I need to find some positive energy to get me through my days and keep me strong.
I know I can't keep feeling sad all the time.

difficult.

The last few days have been very difficult for me and my family as we received some distressing news regarding my dear grandmother. She has cancer. The doctors are still running tests and we don't know too much information at this time. I've been at the hospital for days now by her side. It's really hard not to cry while I'm there.

My heart is filled with sadness right now.
It's been so hard to concentrate, and I can't even wrap my head around my summer school classes.. :-(
I'm not sure how long I will be away. I just need to take some time and be with my family.
I hope to be back soon with some positivity.
Please keep my grandma in your thoughts.

Hello! Quick post today!

I've been crazily busy this week with my summer courses that I hardly have the time for blogging. :/ Lame, I know..
Hope to catch up this weekend with some fun posts in between studying.

Tonight I'm going to see the 80's band, Great White perform here in SA. I'm a little over the top excited today. :-P

We had a lovely movie date this afternoon and saw "Get Him To the Greek". It was hilarious! ;) What a great way to spend a scorching hot Sunday--indoors! Ha.

Here are some self-portraits I took just a few days ago. I love the way the sun spots look.

Also, I don't mind if these shots are blurry. I often do weird things when I shoot sp's. :) I will probably print these out and use them for art journaling.
