thinking happy thoughts thursday ⇒

Pardon my absence yesterday. I haven't been feeling too well since my doctors visit on Tuesday. I think since my ear was tampered with its been feeling unhappy. :-( So I'm taking it easy for the next few days. It just really sucks that I'm out of pain meds already. Didn't think I needed them anymore..but oh how I do..ugh.

I want to think "happy thoughts" so here are some pretty things I have had my eye on recently..

good tuesday

[and the good news is...]

~my ear appointment went well today! my doctor even said i can start doing light cardio again. :-) can't wait to workout!!
~i did some craft shopping at michael's and found some cute stuff!
~i purchased a new sketchbook and a date stamp..so excited!
~we are taking a road trip next tues. the 11th and coming back the 14th! heading to north carolina!

this photo makes me want to go someplace magical. an adventure of some sort...

Today I...
-started the morning off right with some coffee.
- had an appointment with Gordon (my psychologist) in the morning.
- took care of some much needed "to do" errands.
- ate cookies n' cream ice cream.
-took a nap.
-watched "golden girls" episodes.
- got an unexpected little gift in the mail from a special friend. :)

..i really really need to stop procrastinating about things. ugh.

..i need to pick up my camera and find something fun to photograph. i haven't felt 'photographically inspired' as of late. hope to get that back.

..i can't believe the summer is almost over. i haven't done near the amount of craft projects that i wanted to.

..i feel like i'm ready for fall. i like the cool breeze, long sleeve shirts, and hot cocoa.
(even though we don't get a real fall season here in texas)

Happy Birthday to my cousins (triplets) who turned 1 today! :-)
We went to their "Baby Einstein" themed birthday party earlier and it was all too cute. They looked so precious today in their birthday attire. I sadly forgot my camera at home but many other family members brought theirs. I may be stealing facebook photos in the near future! hehe.
