this post is a little late today. i spent most of my day working on the finishing touches to my final and then finally submitting it. goodness it took f-0-r-e-v-e-r. so..yay! no more online class for the remainder of the summer! now i can enjoy myself. ;-)

I want to see 500 Days of Summer sooo bad! I found out that it opens this Friday and is only showing in one theater here in SA. I'm going to see if Lewis will take me on a date afternoon to see it. :) I'm excited because it has Zooey Deschanel in it, plus I think it will just be a GREAT movie no matter what.

::on the road to recovery::

This afternoon was the first time out of my house. I went to my post op visit to see how my ear was doing. My doctor says that everything is looking good so far. :) I'm still taking my pain meds but not as frequent as I was before. Hopefully by the end of the week I won't need them at all. That is good news!

It's amazing how weak your body gets when you don't use it. After my appointment Lewis took me to eat lunch at Luby's. It was nice to have a portion like that and be able to enjoy it. We went to a furniture store afterward to look around and I knew I couldn't stand very long because my body was reminding me how weak I was. I don't make a very good patient.. just so you know. I want to feel 100% again so I can carry on with my life.
I need to take it one day at a time. I still have more recovering to do..

I found this on Elise's blog and thought I would give it a whirl. ;)

I always :

~have at least two cups of coffee every day.
~eat one piece of toast around midnight.
~am inspired visiting jedroot.com.
~make my bed.
~watch "The Golden Girls" reruns before bedtime.

~worry about the clutter in my room.
~think I would be completely lost without my camera.
~don't have my camera when I really, really need it.
~feel uninspired.

~get tired of coffee.
~like checking my voice mail. It's a total pain.
~want to feel claustrophobic.

This morning and afternoon was tough dealing with my ear pain. It seems like my new pain meds are wearing off a little fast. ugh. Luckily it's under control right now so I'm able to play a little on my laptop. I'm searching for something fun..something colorful and inspirational.
